Colombian developer C2 Game Studio has announced
Project Monolith, a brand new brawl game that will be available on all major platforms, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The studio didn't give us a specified release date or even
Project Monolith’s real title, but instead we have our first look at
Monolith in the very first teaser trailer of the upcoming action RPG.
Project Monolith is currently in development on Epic's Unreal Engine 4 and will reportedly offer players “
fast combat on a mystical monolithic land.” C2 Game Studio also described
Project Monolith as “
an independent brawler with a touch of adventure” and its world design and setting is really similar to the one we've seen in Runic Games’
Torchlight series and their last project,
Hob.
Sadly, the said teaser trailer doesn't reveal much about
Project Monolith. While the game definitely looks unique, charming and extremely colorful, it's hard to say what we will actually do in that vast world. It seems that our little hero will have to face not only natural obstacles, but also some truly enormous monsters like the huge worm-esque beast at the end of the teaser. Take a look:
Project Monolith is heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam (PC/Mac).
