While this information will be officially revealed at 7:30 a.m. PT / 10:30 a.m. ET in the video that you can check out down below, Acid Wizard Studio's sleeper hit
Darkwood is finally coming to the consoles.
According to Polish developer Crunching Koalas,
Darkwood will be available for PlayStation 4 on May 14, Nintendo Switch on May 16, and Xbox One on May 17, 2019. As a reminder, the critically acclaimed PC original launched back in August 2017, tasking you with surviving in the sprawling darkness, exploring the deadly forest, and also taking care of you avatar's slowly decreasing mental health.
Given that the production is being ported by Koalas, the studio responsible for the console version of
This War of Mine: Complete Edition, it's rather safe to say that the upcoming port's quality will live up to our expectations. Since its big launch on PC,
Darkwood has managed to sell over 170,000 copies.
