Death Stranding launched back in November 2019 exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and later came to PC as well. Though largely acclaimed, the game proved to be a little divisive; it seems you either love it or hate it.
The title featured had an all-star cast including Léa Seydoux (No Time To Die), Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal), Margaret Qualley (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), and many more. Most particularly, Death Stranding starred Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) as Sam Bridges. It's Reedus who can be seen in a new set photo recently posted by game director Hideo Kojima.
Kojima, director of Death Stranding, creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, and founder of Kojima Productions, recently shared a picture on Twitter that caused a bit of speculation. The background is out of focus but it's clear the game director is at a soundstage and many are convinced that Reedus himself can also be seen.
Kojima's tweet reads as follows: "Recently, I've been revising the plan and script, and experimenting with everything else." Naturally, many have taken this as a tease that a sequel to Death Stranding is in the works. After all, Reedus did verbatim say as much back in August (via IGN Brazil): "I think we're doing a second Death Stranding."
What's more, The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley replied with the 'pair of eyes' emoji so perhaps the sequel will be revealed as soon as the annual event next month. Be sure to stay tuned to Gamefragger.
