When
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order was announced by Nintendo in December of last year, fans of the action RPG series couldn't believe it — since the last entry in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series had been released in 2009.
It isn't just the fact that a new
Marvel Ultimate Alliance game was being developed, but it's also the fact that it comes just at the right time; considering that the FOX and Disney merger was already taking place, which meant that Marvel was, once again, considering to use beloved characters like the
X-Men and the
Fantastic 4 in their games and other media porperties.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order currently features characters from the
X-Men and the
Fantastic 4, Marvel's First Family, which is something that fans have been wanting for quite a long time; making this a
Marvel Ultimate Alliance title through and through.
While we're still a bit over a month away from the game's release, this E3 gave us a brand-new, and action-packed trailer for
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, as well as a bunch of gameplay footage played by the Nintendo Treehouse crew — who are joined by one of the writers of the game, and members of Marvel Games — giving us a good look at the game, its characters, and some iconic locations like the Xavier Mansion from the X-Men, and more.
