FIFA 18, CALL OF DUTY: WW2 And GTA V Were The Best Selling Games Of The Last Year In Europe

EA, Activision and Take Two's products occupy the list of last year's best selling games in (Western) Europe. Despite selling less copies (16,2% down) than FIFA 17, the 2018 edition managed to become the number one. That's probably the only good news for Electronic Arts, as Star Wars: Battlefront II is down 51% compared with sales of last year's Battlefield 1 and 49% compared to EA's first entry.

On the other hand, the end of the year for Ubisoft wasn't tough at all. Assassin's Creed Origins is up to 32% in sales compared to Watch_Dogs 2 and 13% ahead of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Nintendo is also a lucky publisher, considering that Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sold over 300,000 copies each and all finished 2017 in the top ten.
