First INJUSTICE 2 Gameplay Trailer Released

Check out the first gameplay trailer for WB Games and NetherRealms' sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us. With new characters, combos and improved graphics, Injustice 2 looks to be a definite improvement. Will it be a day-one purchase for you?

In addition to the new characters of Aquaman and Supergirl revealed in the teaser trailer, the first full gameplay trailer also debuted  Black Manta,  Gorilla Grodd and Atrocitus.  There's sure to be even more surprises as eagle-eyed gamers have spotted schematics for Captain Cold's gun in the teaser and WB and NetherRealm have promised a roster even larger than the 42 playable fighters in the first installment.  

Unfortunately, at this early stage, there's still no word on an official release date but the fighting game looks to be a next-gen release only, sorry all you legacy gamer still holding on to your PS3 and Xbox 360.

Burbank, Calif. - June 8, 2016 – Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Injustice 2, the super-powered sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us. The newest game in development from the award-winning NetherRealm Studios features a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters. Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One in 2017.

Injustice 2 offers the latest DC fighting game experience that expands on the previous title’s larger-than-life showdowns. For the first time gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.
