With the Joker recently being revealed as the 30th and final playable character in Injustice 2, a lot of comic book fans were disappointed that his infamous crow bar victim, Jason Todd seemingly wouldn't be included in the game- especially after NetherRealm founder Ed Boon teased fans for months. However, a new trailer for the fighting game confirmed that Red Hood would be included in a future DLC release, along with the Teen Titans' Starfire and Mortal Kombat stalwart, Sub-Zero. Check out the reveal trailer below.
Sadly, unlike the Darkseid DLC, Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero won't be available at the game's launch.

Ed Boon previously teased that Injustice 2 would have the largest cast on any previous NetherRealm release to date.
Injustice 2 is scheduled for release on May 16, 2017, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with Standard, Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Additions available for purchase. Beginning April 11, a digital comic book series will be released each week, written by Tom Taylor, which will serve as a prequel to the game's starting point.
As Batman and his Insurgency seek to capture the remaining members of Superman's Regime, Braniac arrives with a corrupted Supergirl to destroy the Earth. Complicating matters further is the rise of The Society, a secret group of supervillains with their own agenda for the planet.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today revealed a new trailer showcasing the first three DLC characters for Injustice™ 2 – Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero. Players will be able to battle it out with these iconic fighters from the DC and Mortal Kombat Universes and utilise their unique moves and skill sets when they purchase the Injustice™ 2 Deluxe Edition or Injustice™ Ultimate Edition. Injustice™ 2 will be available for the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One beginning on the 19th of May. Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero are still in development and will be available for download after the game launches.
