Variety has reported that New Line Cinema's Mortal Kombat movie reboot has just found its Shang Tsung and Scorpion, which will be played by "The Dark Knight" actor Chin Han and "The Last Samurai" actor Hiroyuki Sanada respectively.

Chin Han and Hiroyuki Sanada will be joining Joe Taslim(Sub Zero), Ludi Lin(Liu Kang), Jessica McNamee(Sony Blade), Josh Lawson(Kano), Mehcad Brroks(Jax), Tadanobu Asano(Raiden), and Sisi Stringer(Mileena), while there's still an undisclosed role for "Wu Assassins" actor Lewis Tan.

As far as the casting goes, New Line's Mortal Kombat movie is really shaping up nicely. The movie's writer has already teased that we'll be seeing a bunch of familiar faces in the movie and these casting news are definitely proof of it; coupled with the fact that the movie will be rated R and feature some iconic Fatalities, it is safe to say that fans of the Mortal Kombat series are in for a treat.

Mortal Kombat is expected to hit theaters on the 5th of March in 2021.
