Code Mystics and SNK have partnered up to bring
Samurai Shodown V Special to PC, as the sword-fighting game has become available on Windows via Steam or GOG today, as we draw closer to the release of the
Samurai Shodown reboot.
This game is a port of the PlayStation 4 version, which introduced a few new features that the original Neo Geo title didn't have; making it the ultimate version of
Samurai Shodown V. Perhaps the biggest addition to the game is the support for Online Matches, a feature that has also been made available for the Windows version of
Samurai Shodown V Special.
Much like the PlayStation 4 version of the game, a Gallery Mode was also added in
Samurai Shodown V Special for Windows, so players can now look at some of the fantastic concept art for the game, and unlock even more art by fulfilling certain in-game conditions; adding a lot of replay value to the game.
Samurai Shodown V Special — the ninth and final entry in the long-running
Samurai Shodown series, or at least until the new one comes out next week — is also the uncensored version of
Samurai Shodown V, so players can enjoy the full experience while they wait for
Samurai Shodown to release.
