SoulCalibur VI released in October of last year to some very positive reviews from both critics and fans of the long-running sword-fighting series alike, which was actually to be expected; considering that the developer always delivers in every single one of the series' entries.

During this year's EVO, Bandai Namco released a trailer for the Season Pass 2 of the game — revealing that 4 new characters are going to be added in the coming months, as well as 4 creation packs and one guest character: Samurai Shodown's Haohmaru.

Haohmaru has been one of the main characters in SNK's acclaimed Samurai Shodown series and, while the Season Pass 2 trailer for SoulCalibur VI didn't provide us with any gameplay of the character in action, this is still great news for fans of the video game fighting genre.

Check it out:

SOULCALIBUR VI represents the latest entry in the premier weapons-based, head-to-head fighting series and continues the epic struggle of warriors searching for the legendary Soul Swords. Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR to uncover hidden truths.

SoulCalibur VI is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
