DICE just wrapped up a closed alpha test for the highly anticipated Battlefield V, gathering a lot of important feedback which will affect a new build of the game and prepare the way for additional tests.

To demonstrate how useful the alpha test proved, a post on the official Battlefield blog detailed everything the developers learned and how they would tweak future builds to improve the game’s strengths or fix any problems.

However, while the closed alpha was the focus, the blog post also teased DICE’s Gamescom plans and revealed their would likely be an "Open Beta in early September.”

This is sure to be exciting news for players aching to enjoy the latest installment in the Battlefield franchise. Though, what the beta will include remains unclear for now and likely won’t be made known until we get closer to September.
