In addition to next week's livestream that will conclude the preview of
Destiny 2's upcoming expansion,
Curse of Osiris, Bungie will also details the "systems side of the December update."
More specifically,
Destiny 2 director Luke Smith teased the update will include: economy updates (vendors & acquiring their gear, tokens, legendary shards), investment updates (new reward systems for weapons & armor), gameplay updates, and more. Additionally, both he and project lead Mark Noseworthy will address community feedback and answer questions during that time as well.
As for the expansion, the livestream - which will take place on Wednesday, November 29 - will provide a look at the new inventories in action as well as a brand new Crucible map. The two previous livestreams focused on fireteam activities and story elements of Curse of Osiris.
Destiny 2: Expansion I - Curse of Osiris is due out December 5 which is probably when we can also expect the December update to go live. Earlier this week, Bungie acknowledged issues with XP in the game and announced they are changing the way experience gains scale.
