Although everyone understood the reasoning behind Bethesda and id Software delaying the release of the highly anticipated
DOOM Eternal — direct sequel to the critically acclaimed
DOOM(2016) — fans were still left somewhat disappointed that the game would no longer be releasing in November like the developers initially planned.
Pretty much everything shown about
DOOM Eternal after the game was pushed back to March of this year, however, has made fans of the demon-slaying series even more excited for the upcoming title; all of it for good reason, mind you, as this new game has apparently managed tu surpass its predecessor — and that is no small feat to accomplish.
While
DOOM Eternal is still a little bit over a month away from finally releasing — becoming available for home consoles and PC on the
22nd of March — we now have over 10 minutes of demon-slaying greatness thanks to the people over at IGN, who have shared an action-packed gameplay video that keeps making us wish the game was finally here.
