Aiming to tell a Star Wars story from a new perspective, the team chose to use characters from the Empire's side. Taking place right after the events of
Return of The Jedi, we see the emotional toll the destruction of the Death Star has on Iden Versio, the leader of an Imperial Special Forces group called Inferno Squad. This is an interesting way of getting the player to identify with these new characters in spite of the fact that they are technically the bad guys.
In terms of gameplay, it will be cool to explore Inferno Squad's versatility in air combat and ground assaults. Piloting vehicles like the AT-ST looks like such fun!
