Ever since the first season of DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront II — which connected to the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi — fans of the game have been clamoring for more details on season two. Since no details had been revealed up until this point, many fans had begun to hope for something Clone Wars related, but a new announcement from EA has revealed it will be something quite different.
In a tweet from the official EA Star Wars account, it was finally confirmed that Season 2 would be arriving sometime "this month." Along with this, it was also revealed the upcoming DLC will contain content related to Solo: A Star Wars Story.
No other details on the next season of DLC was revealed, but with May the Fourth nearly upon us many have speculated we’ll be getting more details very soon.
Still, if the first and only season of DLC is any indication, we can probably expect to get at least two new maps and a new hero or villain. It’s also likely players will be treated to the sleeker Millennium Falcon we’ll see owned by Lando Calrissian in the upcoming film.
