E3 2019 is nearly upon us, but the developers behind Star Wars Battlefront II have decided to kick the weekend off by revealing some huge new details on the June 2019 update and teasing future plans.
First off, in today's community transmission, officially confirmed that Naboo will be added to the map rotation for the Capital Supremacy, something many fans have been speculating since the inclusion of Kamino.
However, that's not the only exciting thing coming with the update on June 26, as EA and DICE will finally add Anakin's "General Skywalker" skin and the deadly Droidekas as a new reinforcement. And to even the playing field a bit, players on the side of the Galactic Republic will be able to utilize the TX-130 Saber-class fighting tank. Lastly, the 212th Recon Division and 41st Scout Division will be included as alternate appearances for clone troopers.
While that may cap off all the new additions coming this month, the developers also released an updated roadmap that teases what's to come in the few months. In July, Star Wars Battlefront II will apparently be hosting events called "Clone Wars Community Quests", and in August something simply referred to as "New Ways To Play" will be released.
Finally, the new roadmap revealed Felucia, a planet familiar to fans of the Clone Wars series, will come in a new update arriving sometime this fall. In all, while details on the updates coming later this year are being kept under wraps, it looks like EA and DICE are putting in a lot of work to keep players interested in Star Wars Battlefront II.
