Atomic Heart tells the story based on the vision of a technological revolution powered by Communism that has already happened and ultimately destroyed the Soviet Union from the inside. The principal character of the game, a special agent P-3, is trying to figure out what went wrong after an unsuccessful landing on enterprise "3826," facing dangerous and armed AI and the living dead.
Developer Mundfish has announced that the game is available for pre-order right now and released three trailers to ignite players' imagination. The first one,
Soviet Television at Facility 3826, spotlights an empty room with a turned on TV that broadcasts a
Bright Falls-like audition. The second video is titled
Baba'' (Grandma) Zina trapped in Polymers and shows a woman trapped in a tunnel of molecular mass.
The last one,
Jelly-Man takes a bath in hospital, features a horrifying, bloody, human-like structure laying down in a bathtub. Thankfully, Nvidia has released a special tech demo for
Atomic Heart that focuses on the power of Unreal Engine 4 and GeForce RTX, which allows players to see a variety of ray-traced reflections, which improve scenes and details in the upcoming abstract sandbox.
