Ubisoft Releases First Details On TOM CLANCY'S THE DIVISION 2's New Endgame-Focused Update
While Ubisoft Massive's Tom Clancy's The Division 2 already features plenty of endgame activities to complete, the upcoming free update will unlock a new stronghold mission, fresh gear sets, and more...
Although Tom Clancy's The Division 2 already features more quality content than some other recently released looter shooters, Ubisoft has announced that some major additions will be coming to the critically acclaimed open-world title in the future. As revealed by the French publisher, the first major drop of all-new content will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 5th in a free update.
Tilted Invasion, the update will allow all players to take back Tidal Basin, a new challenging stronghold held by the deadly Black Tusk enemy faction. According to the developers from Ubisoft Massive, you will gain access to more "invading" missions after conquering Tidal Basin solo or with friends in co-op.
Considering that Ubisoft has confirmed a full year's worth of post-launch content for The Division 2, it definitely won't be the last free update of the looter shooter, as the next major steps in TD2's evolution (called D.C. Outskirts and Pentagon) will be released in the coming months alongside smaller updates.
The update will also unlock a new heroic difficulty level (with no checkpoints and generous rewards), the first 3 gear sets, and brand-new missions in the old environments. Check it out down below:
Washington D.C. is on the brink of collapse. Lawlessness and instability threaten our society, and rumors of a coup in the capitol are only amplifying the chaos. All active Division agents are desperately needed to save the city before it's too late. You are a member of the Division, an elite group of civilian agents charged with being the last line of defense. With DC at risk, it's time to gear up and use your unique skills to take on this new threat.
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC NOW!
