Funcom has released a brand new gameplay video, giving us an extended look at the world and mechanisms of
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. The Bearded Ladies studio is clearly inspired by the
X-COM and
Phantom Doctrine series, as the upcoming title runs on the latest version of Unreal Engine 4 which clearly does a good job rendering two very different perspectives at the same time.
The video focuses on the basic gameplay mechanics of
Mutant Year Zero, including exploration and battling corrupted robots. The guide also gives you a chance to learn more about The Beaded Ladies, ambitious studio that plans to launch a new franchise with
Mutant, that is also based on the
Mutant RPG series has three decades of rich history in Sweden, with the first edition released in 1984.
Just like in the paper version,
Mutant Year Zero will give you a chance to use your skills and forward thinking to survive in a hostile environment.
