Bandai Namco announced today that
God Eater 3 launches on February 8, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and PC. While there's no occasional press release available, as this confirmation was revealed in the latest story trailer for
God Eater 3. The third entry in the series was officially announced last year as the title will give you a chance to create and personalize your own avatar to battle the forces of evil.
If you're afraid of facing the Aragami ("violent god" in Japanese) on your own, don't be, as your protagonist will be accompanied by Hugo Pennywort (who is voiced by the famous voice actor Tomokazu Sek [
X-Men, Gravitation]) and your second potential partner, Sieg Pennyworth. Together, you will fight at least three Aragami monsters - ancient Anubis, Ra, and the unpredictable Barbarus.
God Eater 3 is developed at Marvelous, a studio responsible for
Soul Sacrifice, an action-adventure title released for PlayStation Vita. The studio's lack of experience shouldn't be worrying, as
God Eater 3’s staff includes Hiroshi Yoshimura and Yusuke Tomizawa, who have worked on
God Eater: Burst and
Resurrection. Development Director Ittetsu Suzuki was also one of the directors o
n Soul Sacrifice.
Dive into the post-apocalyptic universe of GOD EATER and join the Fenrir Organization – a monster slayer elite force - in order to protect humanity against the hordes of Aragami.
God Eater 3 will hit stores on February 8, 2019, available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
