Rival Megagun is a vertical shoot 'em up, developed by independent developer Spacewave Software and published by Degica, that was announced a mont hago; coming out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on the 29th of November.
Being a proper vertical shoot 'em up,
Rival Megagun has players engaging in some frantic 2D space battles in classic shmup action that adds a competitive twist. Players can choose among multiple playable characters, each armed with unique weapons and their very own Mega Gunship boss form; not to mention lots of unlockable gear for their customisable ships.
Rival Megagun, much like the name implies, allows players to engage in heated multiplayer(couch co-op) battles, or going online and challenge their friends or random opponents via matchmaking. Now players will be able to take this manic shoot 'em up on-the-go—as the game gets new trailer for its launch on the Nintendo Switch.
Take a look:
Rival Megagun is a competitive split-screen vertical shmup (or shoot 'em up, shooting game, STG) where you transform into a gigantic boss ship - your "Mega Gunship" - to invade your opponent's screen.
Rival Megagun is currently available for the Nintendo Switch.
