As always, this year brought us not only pleasant surprises and enjoyable products but also some tragic misfires. If some of you think about becoming a professional reviewer in the future, a quick look at the list below should tone down your enthusiasm. Metacritic published a short list of the ten worst reviewed games of 2017 and what can I say. It's truly terrible.

The crown of the best (worst?) of the worst of 2017 belongs to Road Rage which scored 26% on Metacritic. According to the service that aggregates reviews "critics and users alike were the ones feeling rage after spending time (and money) on this frustrating and buggy open-world motorcycle combat game". The list is longer and if you dare, check it out below:

League of War: VR Arena - 46%
Raid: World War II - 46%
Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back - 45%
Maize - 45%
Rugby 18 - 42%
Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle - 42%
Troll and I - 39%
Dying: Reborn - 38%
Randall - 38%
Road Rage - 26%
