Video games based on the character of Naruto have been around almost as long as the manga itself. From 2D fighters to 3v3 arena fighters, the character has been putting fans in the shoes of the iconic characters of the series for over a decade.
However, things changed when Bandai Namco Entertainment launched the game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. For the first time, players would be able to enter the world of the characters as their own and team up for battles against the series' enemies! While there are still playable characters from the show, fans still try to make their avatars look like characters that have not been announced yet.
Thankfully, with the announcement of Neji as the 20th DLC character, fans can check off one more character that they will have to make! Announced in a recent issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, not much more was revealed about the character or his move set.
For now, fans have to hold out a little longer before they can activate their byakugan as the fan-favorite ninja. Until then, we would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a high-speed four vs. four multiplayer title that encourages cooperative play through the use of character-specific roles. Characters are split up into four roles: Attack, Ranged, Defense, and Heal. Teams that utilize these four types of characters will be formidable opponents on the battlefield.
Neji is coming soon to Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC!
