Detroit: Become Human is a narrative game that's been exclusively available for the PlayStation 4 since April of last year. In that time, the game has earned quite a bit of acclaim and sold upwards of three-million units —
more on that here. Detroit: Become Human takes place in a future in which androids have become commonplace.
The player assumes the role of three different androids within this futuristic world, each of which lives and has lived very different lives. The story revolves around the sentience of androids and essentially an uprising against their fleshy counterparts. It's a branching narrative in which you're presented choices that determine how the tale is told.
Back in March, Quantic Dream announced that their popular story-based titles would become available for the PC — those being
Heavy Rain,
Beyond: Two Souls, and
Detroit: Become Human. Today, the studio has released a trailer for the PC release of the latter which finally reveals an exact release date. Detroit: Become Human will be available for PC via the Epic Games Store from December 12th.
