SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is a game that was released for the Nintendo Switch, back in November of last year, that compiles 24 of the most iconic, and classic titles developed by SNK; from Arcade to console titles that have made SNK what it is today.
NIS America, the game's publisher, and SNK advertised the game as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, which made the PlayStation 4 announcement of the game even more of a surprise. The only difference is that the Nintendo Switch version came out with 13 titles at launch, and got 11 more as free DLC.
Today, NIS America has treated us to our very first look at the new cover art for
SNK 40th Anniversary Collection on the PlayStation 4. The new cover art is also drawn by Yoshiyasu Matsushita; who already designed the cover of the Nintendo Switch version and has managed to capture the magic from all of the games present in this collection yet again.
Take a look:
The arcade comes home in this amazing collection built from the earliest titles in SNK's illustrious catalog. Celebrating 40 years of titles that changed the landscape of arcade and console libraries across the world, available for the first time in one collection!
SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 19th of March.
