We have some bad news for people who have been eagerly anticipating the physical copy of
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, as Yacht Club Games confirms that the release has been pushed back for several months.
It wasn't only
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove that was delayed, but the King of Cards campaign and the amiibo figures that were going to be released with it have also been delayed.
Yacht Club Games mentions in their blog update that this is the last delay these highly anticipated
Shovel Knight items will see, although they have failed to give us an official release date. The original date would have seen the release of
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove physical copies, the King of Cards campaign, and the amiibo figures coming out on the
9th of April.
As per the update on Yacht Club Games' blog, physical copies of the game won't be out for "several months — at most" so, while this is disappointing news; fans can rest assured that these have not been cancelled' only pushed back a few more months.
