The
Marvel Knights have joined the alliance. With today's release of
Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire, Punisher, Blade, Moon Knight, and Morbius are all now playable in
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.
In addition to the new characters, the add-on also comes with a new Gauntlet Mode. Here's a brief overview of it:
In Gauntlet Mode, up to four players take on a frenzied series of co-op challenges in rapid succession to earn rewards. Once you've cleared a Gauntlet, you will unlock a survival-style version of it with continuous waves of challenges. Find out how long you can last and see how your score stacks up with online rankings.
Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire is the first of three planned DLC packs part of the Expansion Pass. The other two expansions will center on the
Fantastic Four and more members of the
X-Men. All three packs are part of the Expansion Pass for $19.99 and can not be purchased individually.
Also available today is a free update for
MUA3 that adds new outfits for Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther, and others, as well as a more-difficult "Nightmare" story mode with new battle rules.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
