According to Gematsu, George R.R. Martin (GRRM) has consulted on the next From Software video game, which will be revealed at E3 next month in California.  GRRM revealed on his official blog that he's consulted on a "video game out of Japan" and the report has identified that game as the next title from From Software.

A hat tip also has to go to YouTuber Spawn Wave, who reported all the way back in March that Martin had linked up with From Software and was the lead writer on the studio's next game, which would be an open-world title centerd on Norse mythology.

As with everything GRRM does these days, fans of his  A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series were quick to complain that he's doing everything except complete his epic fantasy series.  The smash-hit HBO adaptation of his fantasy epic passed where the book series is currently at 2 seasons ago and wrapped up its 8th and final season to mixed reviews last Sunday.
