The second season premiere of Fallout is just about two weeks away, and Amazon Prime Video is beginning to ramp up promotional efforts for the fan-favorite video game TV series.

As such, a new teaser/TV spot has just dropped, and it highlights a host of new season 2 character additions and teases the arrival of one of the game's most difficult monsters to take down, the Deathclaw.

New season 2 cast additions include Macaulay Culkin, Justin Theroux, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Fallout season 2 premieres December 17 on Prime Video.

Unlike the first season, which dropped all 8-episodes at once, season 2 will shift to a weekly release format, with a new episode streaming each week until the finale in early February 2026.

In Fallout’s wasteland, few creatures inspire the same mix of dread and respect as the Deathclaw.

Towering above most survivors and wrapped in thick, reptile-like armor, these mutants dominate whatever patch of ground they decide is theirs.

They aren’t just big, they’re relentlessly aggressive and guard their territory with a kind of primal intensity that makes even veteran scavengers keep their distance.

One wrong step near a Deathclaw nest can turn a routine trek into a fight for your life.

Players quickly discover this firsthand. A run-in with a Deathclaw in the games usually means chaos, adrenaline, and a very real chance that the encounter ends after a single, brutal swipe. It’s a lesson most folks only need to learn once.

"Based on one of the greatest video games of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them above."

The hit video game adaptation stars Walton Goggins in the dual role of The Ghoul / Cooper Howard, alongside Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Kyle MacLachlan as Hank, Michael Emerson as Wilzig and Johnny Pemberton as Thaddeus.

Jonathan Nolan and his wife, Lisa Joy developed the series for Amazon, hiring Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner to serve as co-showrunners.

Previously, Goggins teased, "Now that people understand what the world is, this story just takes it to a whole other level. I've been around a long time and usually, a show that people are attracted to, with that license, the second season really starts cooking, right? That's when some real magic can happen."
