Even with a postponed schedule and the threat of COVID-19, the production team of the hit Netflix series, The Witcher, has been hard at work in bringing the highly anticipated second season to the small screen. While there isn't any official footage available, Netflix has been teasing the season in various ways.
While Netflix has been making more enemies by raising their prices and canceling some hit series, the company has still been hard at work at making sure they deliver some of the best original content that they can. This has included releasing some fun teasers for the new season of Henry Cavill's The Witcher, including a very fun monster mash trailer over Halloween.
With the announcement of a new website that gives an interactive look at the map of the land found in the series and a timeline of events, another post was made that released a page from the new season's script! Not only can viewers get a taste of what the show will be like, but there is now a behind the scenes look at how these shows are made.
Sadly, there is still no official release date for the series yet, but we can potentially expect something soon at the pace that production is moving. We would love to hear your thoughts on the show in the comments below!
It is based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. Set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass known as "the Continent", The Witcher explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia and princess Ciri, who are linked to each other by destiny.
The second season of The Witcher is coming soon to Netflix!
