The Sinking City is not the only Lovecraft-inspired video game that will launch in the coming months.
Publisher Funcom has officially announced
Moons of Madness, a first-person story-driven cosmic horror "
where the scientific exploration of Mars meets the supernatural dread of Lovecraft."

Moons of Madness will give you a chance to play as Shane Newehart, a crew member of a small research group deployed on Mars. As Newehart, you help build up Mars’ first research settlement, but the terrible weather conditions won't even be your biggest problem in the wake of "
supernatural occurrences that threaten to tear down the very fabric of reality. "
Moons of Madness is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this October. According to Funcom, the player will face many in-game obstacles, including malfunctioning computers, electrical systems, rovers, and solar panels that will create a truly dreadful atmosphere. Be sure to check it out below:
