It's been nearly a decade since we were graced with Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. But now, the iconic sidescroller beat 'em up is back as the "Complete Edition" and available to download digitally on just about every platform.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition is a 2D arcade-style beat 'em up that's mostly inspired by the beloved graphic novel series, but does have nods to the 2010 Universal Pictures film. The game is presented in 8-bit animation from Paul Robertson with a rocking soundtrack from Anamanaguchi. Original cutscenes are from Bryan Lee O'Malley, creator of the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World graphic novel series.

In addition to reliving all of the humor and classic gameplay, the Complete Edition includes the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells downloadable content. Also new is the ability to play the game with up to three others locally or online. Not only can you take on the main game with multiplayer, but you can also enjoy subspace mini-games. Compete in dodgeball or battle royale, or play cooperative modes such as Boss Rush and Survival Horror.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition is available digitally for just $14.99. It's available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Stadia and PC. You can also play it on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 via the backward compatibility mode. Subscribers to Ubisoft+ can also enjoy the game.

If you're a huge fan of Scott Pilgrim, you may be interested in the Limited Editions of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition, which are available for pre-order starting this Friday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. ET.
