After a very long wait, and constant delays, it seems that
Shenmue III Kickstarter backers will finally be able to get the game's demo — as developer Ys Net has recently announced that the demo will become available at some point this weekend.
While the information isn't as straight-forward as we would like it to be, it is still good news that fans will finally be able to play the
Shenmue III demo rather sooner than later; as they wait for the game to launch in just a couple more months.
According to the information previously revealed, the demo will see players exploring Bailu Village in what the developer confirmed is one of the earlier acts of
Shenmue III; allowing players to get a taste of what's to come once the full game releases.
Players will need 20GB of storage available, at the very least, to download the
Shenmue III demo. It is also worth mentioning that the demo will not save any progress that can be transferred to the full version of the game — which is something for players to keep in mind.
Journey deep into rural China as you take on the role of Ryo Hazuki, a Japanese teenager hellbent on finding his father’s killer—a story of adventure, mystery, friendship, martial arts, and ultimately, revenge!
Shenmue III will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PC(Epig Games Store) on the 19th of November.
