Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is set in a "post-human" world which has been destroyed during the nuclear holocaust. When the dust settled, the real children of atom (mostly human-looking pigs and mutated ducks, it seems) became the only remaining survivors and last hope of humanity. The title is not only headily inspired by
Beyond Good & Evil's aesthetics, but also the
X-COM series.
The Bearded Ladies studio has proudly announced that silent assassin Farrow joins
Mutant's strange cast of characters. She might look like a cute little heartbreaker, but she’s no sweet little love maker and you will have a chance to meet her closer during your playthrough, as Farrow is one of the recruitable characters you’ll encounter during your many expeditions in the dangerous Zone.
Farrow's true origins are a mystery, even to her. All she knows is her name’s Farrow, and she’s a product of the Zone. She thought her settlement was the only place left in the whole world, until she met you, obviously. The title releases next month for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, as
Mutant Year Zero is coming to Xbox Game Pass on release day. Be sure to check out Farrow introduction trailer below:
A tactical adventure game combining the turn-based combat of XCOM with story, exploration, stealth, and strategy. Take control of a team of Mutants navigating a post-human Earth. Created by a team including former HITMAN leads and the designer of PAYDAY.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden will be releasing on December 4, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
