We have some great news for skateboarding aficionados who enjoy a great game based on their favourite sport, as Easy Day Studios has announced that Skater XL is kickflipping its way into Nintendo Switch this year.
Skater XL was initialy released on Steam as an Early Access title in December of last year, and has since been announced for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Easy Day Studios still hasn't revealed exactly when the game will become available.
While the game may still not have an official date, the developer reassures that Skater XL is expected to launch for the aforementioned platforms, including Nintendo Switch, in July; giving fans plenty of time to get excited for the upcoming skateboarding title.
Skateboarding fans haven't really had that many chances to play brand-new skateboarding games. Skater XL does seem to be heavily inspired by the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Skate series; considering that none of those series has released a game in a while, Skater XL could be the godsend fans have been waiting for.
