South Park: The Stick of Truth is a role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Ubisoft that came out for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Steam; getting a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One re-release with the launch of South Park: The Fractured But Whole in 2017.
The game was delayed quite a few times but in the end it was all for the better as The Stick of Truth was met with nothing but praise upon release. This comes as no surprise as the game was written and supervised by Trey Parker and Matt Stone; creators of South Park.
Today, Ubisoft has officially announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch next week, on the 25th of September—allowing players to enjoy this comedic masterpiece on-the-go.
Ubisoft has also announced that the game will be released digitally, so don't hold your breath on a physical copy of The Stick of Truth given that neither the PlayStation 4 nor the Xbox One versions of the game have been made available physically...yet.
