Square Enix is taking players to the armed conflict between the Republic of Garmoiya and the Republic of Ruthenia in Left Alive; where they'll experience the long history of humanity's failures.
What makes
Left Alive interesting, is that players will be taking control of three main protagonists with very different points of view on this armed conflict taking place in the fictional Russian city of Novo Slava.
Left Alive boasts the talents of Game Designer Takayuki Yanase, who people may know for his work on
Ghost in the Shell: Arise and Monolith Soft's
Xenoblade Chronicles X, as well as
Metal Gear Solid series art designer Yoji Shinkawa and
Armored Core series producer Toshifumi Nabeshima.
With the game coming out in a bit over a week from today, Square Enix has released a new gameplay trailer that offers some background story for some of the characters, as well as showing off some of the exciting combat gameplay that players can expect to find in
Left Alive.
