If there's one thing Stan Lee loved before passing away last November, it was making cameo appearances in various Marvel adaptations. For the most part, Stan would pop up in the movies and whenever he did you'd hear a burst of whispers in the theater go "Stan Lee!"
The legendary Marvel Comics writer and editor also make a couple of appearances in video-game form, two which come to mind are his touching cameo in Insomniac's
Spider-Man game and his dedicated side-missions in TT Games'
LEGO Marvel games. So there's a precedent for him possibly popping up in Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' upcoming
Marvel's Avengers game.
Gamespot recently held a Q&A session with, Marvel Games creative director, Bill Rosemann wherein he was asked whether or not we should expect "Stan the Man" to make an apperance in the recently unveiled Marvel game. Rosemann basically dodged the question, simply stating
"Well, we can't talk about that right now."
It's not a yes, but it's also not a no - though I'll admit that it does seem closer to the former. What do you think of Rosemann's response? Would you like to see Stan pop up in
Marvel's Avengers?
Marvel's Avengers is set to release on May 15th, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC.
