SUBNATUTICA Is Available On PS4 And XO As The Underwater World Is Set On Fire In New Trailer

The full version of the open world survival adventure game that gives you a chance to explore the (quite literally) breathtaking underwater world launched for PC (via Steam) in January, as Subnautica’s final build is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 today. You can buy Subnautica digitally or on a physical disk and if you are in Europe, physical disk sales will start three days later, on December 7th.

Many players had purchased Subnautica before its launch through Xbox Game Preview and they won't be forced to buy the game again, as all Game Preview copies has automatically became a release copy. "This is a big day for us, and we owe a couple of thanks. We've never released a game on consoles before. It's a terrifying new world. Without our wonderful community of players on Steam, we never would have been able to release Subnautica on Xbox or PlayStation," Unknown Worlds said.

To create the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, Unknown Worlds partnered with Panic Button Games, experts in console development, as the physical editions of Subnautica for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are distributed by Gearbox Publishing.
