Developed by Rocksteady Studios, the company behind the Batman: Arkham game series (bar Batman: Arkham Origins), Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming action-adventure game based on the DC Comics team of the same name that's set to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC at some point in 2022.

Taking place within the same continuity as the aforementioned Batman: Arkham game series, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature the titular superhero team except for Batman. It's up to the Suicide Squad to put a stop to Brainiac, who has turned the Justice League into evil villains by means of brainwashing.

While we hadn't seen gameplay until last night, we knew that the game is a third-person shooter that can be played solo or with up to four players via online co-op. Our first look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League gameplay was shared during The Game Awards ceremony.

The gameplay trailer features that of all four playable characters: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark — as well as a glimpse of this new, villainous take on The Flash. Check it out for yourself below (via DC):

I feel like I should be more excited for this, but I am really not feeling this game. Everything I see about it just leaves me feeling meh.
