Madmind is a truly fascinating studio. The Polish developer's first major title, Agony, turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of 2018, as the game's producers managed to kill an intriguing premise by launching an unfinished, rushed project. One would think that abandoning the condemned project should be Madmind’s next move, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
Agony's unrated edition (that was cancelled right after the basic version’s release) has come back to life and will launch exclusively on Steam on October 31, 2018, just in time for Halloween. That's not the only game Madmind's working on as the studio is also publishing Unholy - at least according to the studio, as Duality Games claims that Madmind is not involved in Unholy's development.
The Uholy situation (insert "ba dum tss" gif here) hasn't been resolved yet and Madmind is already announcing yet another project! The new horror was revealed two days ago on Agony's Twitter page and it looks like we will have a chance to visit the underworld from the first-person perspective once again. The game's title and release date remain a mystery, so let's hope Madmind will take their time.
