The Creators Of TYRANNY And NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2 Are Teasing A New Project

For many fans, Obsidian is a cult studio. Their first project, KOTOR II can be found on the lists of the best sequels in the history of gaming. Neverwinter Nights 2, another sequel to Bioware's game also didn't let the fans down. The studio's next projects: Alpha Protocol and Fallout: New Vegas were technically flawed, but still represented what the RPG genre could - and should - be.

Obsidian finally seems to make the next step forward and announce a new project. The studio used twitter to showcase their legacy by listing all the projects they ever had a chance to work on. What's hiding behind the enigmatic "???"? Well, it's not hard to imagine a Tyranny sequel or another isometric production in the vein of Pillars of Eternity. It could also mean something totally fresh, and it would be a welcomed and unexpected change of pace.

I personally would also love to see a Fallout: New Vegas sequel, because to me, no one captures the spirit of the post-nuclear wasteland like the Irvine-based studio. But what would you like to see in the Obsidian portfolio? Be sure to comment down below!
