Just a few months ago, Funcom, the creators of The Secret World and Age of Conan, had found themselves on the edge of bankruptcy, but their MMO Conan Exiles has been successful enough to save the studio and give them a second chance to produce new projects. Back in July, Fancom announced that they are partnering with Petroglyph Games on a new RTS set in the Conan universe.
It looks like this title from the Panzer General devs will be announced just in two days during this year's Kinda Funny Games Showcase. "We're counting down to the reveal of a new Conan game! Catch it on the #KFGShowcase! Follow the countdown and tune into the show on December 8th at 10am PT [...] Thanks again to @KindaFunnyVids for letting us be a part of this," Funcom said on Twitter.
This mysterious title from the Grey Goo, Star Wars: Empire at War, and Panzer General: Allied Assault creators is fully funded and will be published by Funcom, that has already revealed that it will launch on PC in the first half of 2019. Naturally, this untitled Conan RTS might not end up getting announced at KFGShowcase, but it would make sense to finally show the game since its launching relatively soon.
