Back in August of this year,
Ubisoft announced that they would be bringing Valiant Hearts: The Great War and Child of Light: Ultimate Edition to the Nintendo Switch. Both of these games would release at different dates, with
Child of Light being the first to be released on the 11th of October and
Valiant Hearts coming out a month later.
Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a game that tells the stories of various characters during the Great War, and how their lives have been affected by this horrible event that changed the world, as well as their very own lives. Among the features that players will find in
Valiant Hearts: The Great War, we have a mix of exploration, action and puzzle elements that will have players on the edge of their seats as they watch the stories of the game's characters.
One of the most interesting aspects of the game is most definitely its unique art style, which resembles that of an animated comibook. The game makes use of the UbiArt Framework engine, and even boasts the talents of Audio and Art Directors that have worked on other popular Ubisoft titles like
Beyond Good & Evil,
Peter Jackson's King Kong(the game, not the movie), and key level designers that worked on the
Rayman series; particularly
Rayman Origins and
Rayman Legends.
Today, Ubisoft has officially made available
Valiant Hearts: The Great War on the Nintendo Switch, and we get a very emotional trailer that shows off the game's unique art style, and introduces us to some of the characters that will be takin part in this heartfelt story.
