WWE 2K19 is set to be released on October 9th for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and excitement for the game is already starting to build. Now, 2K Games has revealed a third (and possibly final) wave of Superstars set to appear as playable characters and while we get a handful of current names here, there's a wealth of talent from the past for players to also choose from when it's released.
Most of these names have been featured in past instalments but there are a few surprises and longtime wrestling fans will no doubt be glad to see that some of their favourites are making a return here.
This year, the roster announcement has been somewhat low key and WWE has seemingly decided against partnering with IGN to release them week by week. Ultimately, these names will still get the same amount of attention from fans but it could be that 2K Games is bracing itself for disappointment because they simply haven't made as many gameplay/graphics changes this year as they should have.
