The WWE 2K games have been in a holding pattern for years now, but it sounds like the developers are finally ready to shake things up. Apparently, "My Career" is getting a total overhaul and eight man tag team matches are being incorporated into both local and online play. There's also going to be a new online multiplayer mode called "Road to Glory."
The game's "WWE Universe" mode is also undergoing some changes, while additional options are being added to make creating wrestlers an even more in-depth and thorough experience.
Graphics will be getting an overhaul thanks to WWE 2K18 having a new gaming engine rather than one designs for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Thankfully, the commentary team is also being changed and will have new lines recorded from scratch by Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves.
Matches like the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber are getting totally revamped and redesigned and backstage areas are tripling in size to increase the variety of areas gamers can play in.
If all these changes pan out, WWE 2K18 could be something very special indeed, so it will be interesting to see if 2K Games can pull it off. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts below.
