The
Devil May Cry series has finally made its way into a Nintendo console, as the very first entry in Capcom's acclaimed hack and slash series has finally become available for the Nintendo Switch — after having been
announced earlier in May.
It is worth mentioning that
Devil May Cry for the Nintendo Switch is the same version seen in the
Devil May Cry HD Collection, which raises the question: why did Capcom decide to release this title alone when it could've been bundled with the other two games in the HD Collection.
As another reminder, Capcom also revealed that
Devil May Cry for the Nintendo Switch is only being released on the eShop; with no plans for a physical release in the near future, if at all. Regardless, this release is still a great way to enjoy this classic hack and slash title in the
Devil May Cry series.
