Nintendo has just released two trailers for the Nintendo Switch Online; one announcing that they will be adding a new Rewind feature to the NES app, and the other revealing that
Donkey Kong 3 and
Wrecking Crew are the new titles being added in July.
Both
Donkey Kong 3 and
Wrecking Crew are soe classic titles that were released for the Nintendo Entertainment System back in the early 1980s, so chances are that Nintendo fans have already played any of them in the past; if that wasn't the case, they will be arriving on the NES app on the
17th of July for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers to try out.
Now, onto the interesting announcement: the brand-new Rewind feature. According to the trailer, players will be able to rewind the game at any point in time by pressing and holding the ZR + ZL buttons; keeping in mind that simply pressing both at the same time should take players to the Suspend Menu.
The way it works is by giving players the choice to go back to whenever they estimate convenient and picking up their game from where they choose; becoming available on the
17th of July, as well.
It is rather disappointing that it isn't something a little bit more intuitive like the rewind feature in the
Mega Man Legacy Collection, where players would press a button and the game quite literally starts rewinding like it was a video, but it does the job regardless.
