Over the weekend, we learned that
Nintendo was planning to add three more games to the evergrowing Nintendo Switch Online NES feature; namely
Clu Clu Land,
Donkey Kong Jr., and
VS. Excitebike, which suddenly showed up on the official Nintendo website.
Well, today Nintendo has finally, and officially, released a trailer with the Game Updates for the month of May and, lo and behold, all three of the aforementioned games that they silently added on their website will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online NES feature on the
15th of May.
Donkey Kong Jr., the sequel to the original
Donkey Kong, will have players taking the role of DK Jr. and try to save Donkey Kong from none other than Mario, while
Clu Clu Land brings some classic arcade fun as players try to recover all of the Golden Ingots that have been stolen by the greedy Sea Urchins.
VS. Excitebike, on the other hand, is an enhanced version of the original Excitebike, which was only released in Japan for the Famicom Disk System, and includes the original game, new music, and a new versus mode; like the name appropriately suggests.
