Piranha Plant is getting quite the attention lately, joining the roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate earlier this year, and now joining the roster of Mario Tennis Aces.

Nintendo has been giving Piranha Plant a lot of love lately, introducing it as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and now revealing that a Fire Piranha Plant will be joining the roster in Mario Tennis Aces.

Much like previously revealed characters added to the game, Fire Piranha Plant will become available for players who participate in Mario Tennis Aces' Online Tournament in June; becoming available for players who didn't participate in the tournament at the beginning of July. 

Mario Tennis Aces released with a pretty bare-bones roster, but Nintendo has been releasing new characters quite consistently, as well as brand-new game modes to keep fans happy. Perhpas the best thing about these releases is that they are completely free; something that Nintendo fans can definitely appreciate.






Unleash an arsenal of shots and strategies in all-out tennis battles with friends, family, and fan-favorite Mushroom Kingdom characters. Whether you play locally, online, or using simple motion controls, intense rallies await!

Mario Tennis Aces is currently available for the Nintendo Switch.
